Hi all,
I encounter a long standing problem about Outlook XP
rules that I can't solve. The situation is like that:
1. I have multiple POP3 account setup with my different
email address.
2. I want to move all my sent mail to folders other than
the default "Sent Items".
3. So I created a rule that moves the mail to a folder
called "Sent" after the mail is sent.
4. The rule itself got no problem and the mail is really
moved to the right folder "Sent".
5. However, the copy of the mail in "Sent" does not
contain the correct sender information including name and
email address if I choose the one that is not default
account. Strange enough, the one that went to "Sent
Items" did contain the right sender information.
6. On closer examination when I copied that message out
to an IMAP server, I found out that the message itself
even does not contain a "From:" header, that may explain
why sender information is wrong in Outlook.
Does any encounter similar situation before? Is there
any fix or workaround?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Percy
