missing sync services in "preferences"

my computer does not sync with my Iphone.
in the menu "preferences" Entourage there is no sync mentioned.

I'am also not able to install the dpwnload 12.20

it seems I'am missing a part of the program.

If you did not use an installer you are most likely missing the mdimporter
files.

I suggest you do a re-install.
