What does Alt+Tab produce?

reading.
After furious head scratching, Ken Bradley asked:
| Whenever a document or Outlook or IE is opened - then minimized, a
| button appears on the task bar that you can click on to maximize
| again. These buttons do not appear. I did find, however, that using
| CTRL-ALT-DELETE which opens the Windows Task Manager, then clicking
| on applications displays a list of the open applications.
| Unfortunately, they are not showing on the task bar which makes it
| easy to click to open rather than a three step of opening the Task
| Manager, clicking on the application Tab, then clicking on the
