missing thread

On the 27th of September a new message was posted under the subject
"changing standard address". But clicking on it only resulted in an
error message that the URL was invalid. How can I read the message?

There have been problems with the server due to the numerous spam messages.
It's possible the messages were deleted.

From Help in Entourage:

1. On the Tools menu, click Accounts.
2. Click the appropriate tab for the type of default account you want to
set: Mail, News, or Directory Service.
3. Click the account you want to make the default account, and then click
Make Default.
€ Mail accounts: The default mail account specified is used as the From
address in all new messages and mailing list responses.

If you browse the group in Entourage and download lots of headers, you
should be able to locate the message. Instructions for setup are here:

You might also be able to find it on the Communities interface at Microsoft
(click on Macintosh, then Entourage). The preferred way remains to access
the group with a newsreader (like Entourage)
