I've got a user that's having archiving problems due to
the modified date on his messages. I can't find any reason
why his modified dates would change, other than the
operations listed in the knowledge base as operations that
change the modified date by design. I thought I was on to
something when I discovered that his modified dates
roughly coincided with the dates I ran the Mailbox
Management process (with the report generation option
only), but he claims that message dates are still being
modified. He swears that he's not accessing the messages
in any way, and he's a pretty credible user. I use McAfee
GroupShield 5.2 for virus protection, and our Exchange
server is backed up using Veritas NetBackup. Any thoughts
on what may be going on here?
