When she opens a word 97 document with word 2000, the
modified date change in windows.
I found that on the knowledge base :

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;265019

but it applies to Outlook however it is the same with word

Please can somebody help me. My customer doesn't wants

The date in the document is presumably a Date (or Time) field. Toggle the
field display (ALT+F9) change the Date or Time bit of the field content to
CREATEDATE. F9 to update and show the original date.

It is not in the document, but it is for the date which
appears in windows explorer.
