Modifying Outlook 1 week view

I am using Outlook 98 usually in the 1 week view with tasklist showing and
without preview.

Is there a way to customize it so that the appointments are shown without
the "pm" and "am" since they are usually obvious and just take up real
estate? With pm and am showing, Outlook will not show the end times unless I
widen its display more than I wish to.
