More user friendly for table border format

Re: format table (border) dialogue box

After I have chosen the style, colour and width, I can't just click "ok" to
apply the new settings to the borders. I have to click on each side to
apply. Is there a chance that you can provide us with a default of all sides?

Epinn,
Are you applying the border using Format - Table, don't do that. Use the
tables and borders toolbar. Set color, style and width then click on the
listarrow next to the button to apply borders (it's the fifth item from the
left), choose all borders button (second of first row) or the outside border
button or any other that suits you, you could for instance just apply
vertical/horizontal inner lines.

Luc,

Thank you for being so helpful. Yes, I did use format, table. You are
right. It's a lot easier using the toolbar (6th item from the left). Wonder
why MS didn't make it more consistent. Anyway, the new version will be out
end of 2006? I watched the demo of the new version

http://www.microsoft.com/office/preview/programs/powerpoint/demo.mspx

but I don't know enough about PowerPoint to tell if it is a big change.

Thanks again.
