Motion Graphs

I am using Power Point 2000
My boss wants a 4- line graph that will appear in his presentation one line
at a time based on time or manual click. Can someone point me in the right
direction as to how to do this? I do not even know what you call this,
though I think I have seen this done before. Please Help.

Hello Aurora,
You might consider ungrouping the chart, it may take a couple of tries
to get to the lines themselves. There will be many object that have
joined the ungrouping game. Care needs to be taken to select an
individual line. Right click on a line, choose custom animation > add
effect > entrance. If the values of the independent variable increases
from left to right, a good feature could be the wipe > direction: from
left. Speed can be adjusted to how quickly the audience can move their
eyes across the screen. Start also has modification available.
Regrouping all of these will cause the animations to be lost. If
regrouping must be done, select those lines and drag them from the
fray, unselect them and then corral the others for grouping before
sunset. The maverick lines can then be brought back into position for
their part in the rodeo.
Let us know if this needs to be rethought.
