"Move to" from IMAP to POP

Just wondering, why will messages moved from IMAP to POP accounts stay in
the "inbox" if dragged to a POP mailbox but will not stay in the IMAP
"inbox" if using the Move to>Pop mailbox option. I prefer that they don't
stay in the inbox.

When you drag, you are doing a copy (just like dragging a file between disks
in the Finder). Move is obviously a move (which deletes the original).
