Moving CD version of Office to a different computer.

After loading Office xp 2002 to a different computer an activation process
starts and then terminates when my Product Key is flagged "already in use".
If this copy of Office xp is removef from the original computer will that
clear the Product Key for reuse? I will not have access to the original
computer for a few months - is there a way to free up the product key without
access to the original computer?

If your copy of Office XP is an OEM version (that is, it came
preinstalled on your computer by the computer manufacturer), then
the software is tied to that computer and cannot be moved to or
installed on any other computer.
