Is there any way, other than using the "move to" tool I can drag and drop emails from my inbox to selected folders without them duplicating? Whenever I drag and drop the emails do not then disappear from the inbox. Also, is the only way to select multiple emails from the inbox to hold the command key and click the required emails?

If your inbox is on an IMAP (or Exchange) account, dragging e-mail does not
delete it from the inbox. You must manually delete it from the server.

As long as the mail server account doesn't get too big, there's no harm in
leaving the messages in the inbox. Once a month or so, I manually delete a
large block of messages from my IMAP accounts.

Hi,

Use the cmd key (apple-key) when dragging, it moves rather than copies.

And, should Entourage guess which mail you would like to select or.... ;-)

To select all = cmd + a

Select 4-9 of 1-10 select 4 hold shift and press 9. 4through 9 are now
selected.
