Moving IMAP mail to local inbox in Entourage 2004?

I would like to create a rule to move all IMAP mail that I receive
(not send) into my local (POP) inbox. Basically, I want all of my
mail to appear in one inbox.

Can someone tell me how to do that?

Go to Tools > Rules, click the "Mail (IMAP)" tab, and click the "New"
button. Create a rule that looks like this:
* Execute actions if any criteria are met
IF All Messages
THEN Move Message Inbox

When selecting the folder for the action, go to the bottom of the list and
select "Choose folder". Then locate your local inbox and click OK. Make
sure the "Enabled" box is checked, and click OK. Now *all* IMAP messages
will be copied to your local Inbox.

A better way to do this is to create a custom view (File:New:Custom View)
that shows you mail in all the different folders that you want (presumably
all of you Inboxes). You can do this with "Folder is" criteria.

Thanks for your reply. Can you guide me through the process of
creating a custom view so that I can see email from my two POP
mailboxes and one IMAP mailbox in the same place? Also, I'd like to
configure it so that I don't see junk mail in the custom view as well.

You mentioned using the "folder" criteria but I don't understand quite
what you meant.
