Moving mail

Hello, I've imported email into Entourage 2004 using the Entourage
Import function bringing in items from Apple Mail.

So I have folders
Imported > Inbox
Imported > Sent
Imported > Deleted Items

etc.

I'm connected to an Exchange account when I try to move these folders
and/or messages from the local Mac to the Exchange account all data and
time stamping on the email items are getting replaced with the data and
time stamp of the time I dragged them over.

How can I moved email from the local Mac while retaining their original
date and time?

Thank you in advance for assistance with this issue.

Not meaning to be rude - what's wrong with Apple's Mail?

You can do just about everything (plus a few extra things) in Mail than
Entourage?

If you're having problems in the Apple's Mail department, then there is a
great newsgroup on Apple's support website (discussions) - very similar
format to this.
