Moving/Rearranging Sections and folders

I think Microsoft needs to improve the moving function for sections and
folders. Why can't it be drag and drop rather than the confusing pop-up
window trying to slot it into the heirarchy? I just want to be able to change
the order of sections within a folder and the current functionality seems
very awkward.

Yes, you're right the current system is awkward and not intuitive.

Improvements to this in the next version of OneNote is often
requested.
