MOVING TASKS ONTO THE CALENDAR

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Power PC
Email Client: pop

I used to be able to move a task onto the calendar by dragging it from the task list to a calendar slot, and vice versa. Have they taken this feature away for good, or am I just missing something? Can anyone shed some light on this?
