Thought I¹d try moving to Mail.app and play with spotlight and ical
functionality.
Opened mail hit import from entourage after about 1hr (500mb main ident
folder) all looked good. Numbers fo mail matched imported numbers. Set up
³smart mailboxes² - quit program. Restart program and the Œimport folder¹ is
gone smart mailboxes remain but click on a message and it tells me the
message has to be downloaded from the server. User/library/mail shows the
imported mail is there under Local-(null@null).
Does anyone know how to have mail.app keep the data viewable. Btw search for
a mail item through spotlight and it will find and open the article no
problem. .
Ps. Have trashed prefs, repaired permissions, rebuil mailbox no joy.
