MP3 and PP03

I had audio inserted into my presentation as wma. I switched the audio files
to mp3 because they wouldn't play with the presentation when I burned it onto
a CD. After the switch, I reinserted the audio into the presentation. Now the
audio will play, but after the music starts, the slides don't transition. Why
is that? How can I fix the problem so the music plays as the presentation
continues?

This might be a very specific solution that only works in
my specific context, but give this a try:
In the custom animation task pane, check to see if the MP3 is
near the top of the list, rather than at the very bottom. If it's at the
top, click
on it to open and set the "stop playing" button to "After current slide" or
to "After x slides" otherwise the program waits until the sound stops
playing to do the other animations.
There seems to be something "sticky" about the timing - it doesn't reset
automatically, but might wait for the sound to end even after you've done the
above.
Try moving the sound to the last entry in custom animation, and then moving
it back to the top.
Hope this helps.

Pdek:
Thanks for the suggestion. However, it still didn't work. I wish I could get
the presentation to work.
