MPEG2s from anywhere fail in PowerPoint

B

BobRGB

I have tried to import Mpg2s made in Premiere, Vegas, Psunami and half a
dozen other softwares and none of them do anything in PowerPoint 2003 but
make a black rectangle, period.

What flavor of Mpeg2 will work? What codec, configuration or setting will do
what Microsoft claims? Mpg1 is too lame to use at trial even with a high data
rate over 5k

Any help is appreciated

Just because it says Mpeg-2 doesn't mean it is. The Mpeg-2 format is
specified in the ISO standard and you must meet those requirements for it to
work properly.
