mpg3 won't play

I have PP 2002.
I have created a series of slides in which I have inserted my voice on mpg3
recordings using WavePad. All worked well for 3 days. Suddenly on Saturday,
the voice recordings are looking like they are playing, but I am getting no
sound from these, although other types of sound clips are playing. I have
had a trojan virus removed by Norton Antivirus. Could that have affected it?

What is the solution?

Do the audio file play in other applications? Are they located in the same
folder as the presentation (if not this is most likely your problem -
corrupt links)? If you re-insert the audio file on the same slide, does it
now play? Finally, what version of PPT are you using?

Troy,

It was located in a folder within a folder within a folder and evidently,
was too complicated to find. I moved the sounds out to a simpler place and
all is working well. Thank you!
