I downloaded and installed XP SP3 and my emails that had PPT files started
calling up Office 2007 Powerpoint and causing the office activation wizard
to start and interfere with the Office 2007 PPT viewer. I had a file called
pptfix.zip on my computer with I thought I remembered fixed this problem
before. I unzipped and installed it. Now when a ppt or pps file calls the
2007 viewer it does not run and gives me a message as though a parameter was
included as part of the call to the viewer. A direct execute of 2007 viewer
does the same thing. My 2007 viewer is inoperative from direct execute or a
call by a pps or ppt files. Please help.
