MS Equation problem

I don't know how to change the textcolor of an equation in
Powertpoint. The default is black and that's not good for
my presentation. I am using MS Equation 3.0.

first, click on the equation to select it. Then, right click: format
object
click on the tab that says picture
toward the bottom right, click on the button that says recolor
choose to change the color of the original from the drop down menu
don't forget to say OK getting out so it saves
