MS Exhange Outlook 2003

Hi:
I am in a LAN running Outlook 2003 Beta 2 and last week I ran the
W32.Sobig.F@mm for the virus and now I am getting an error message every
time i check for messages.

I should have done more research because later on I learned that I could
have avoided this by disabling a feature in the registry.

Is there anything that I can do to prevent the error message.

Rpc to server (EXCHANGE) failed with error code (6d1).

I get from the send and receive
Task 'Microsoft Exchange Server' reported error (0x80070057) : 'Could
not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid.'

and get from th event viewer
Rpc to server (EXCHANGE) failed with error code (6d1).
