MS Office Apps won't open after 12.2.2.4 update

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Word, excel and Pp will not open since the last update was applied.

Specifically: Latest update to OS X? How are you trying to open the
applications? What happens when you do that?
