MS project 2003 remove a subproject from a parent project

Sure. With the master and sub-project open, delete the top level task in the
Master project. Then save BOTH files. Information about the link between
both projects is stored in both files. Fail to update both ends of the link
at the same time can lead to file corruption.

Hi Jim,

Select the Inserted Project Summary task by the row number and hit the
delete key. If you are having difficulty deleting the task, check and
make sure you have SP-2 installed. Go to Help > About... to see the
latest service pack information. If you do not have SP-2 installed,
please see the following link for download details.
