MS Project

I am new to MS Project, being a dinosaur of Artemis.

Is MS Project capable of producing a planned/actual progress S Curve so as
to present a rapid visual performance appraisal of any chosen project/program?

After spending a brief one-hour on MS Project, it does not appear to
encompass this facility; can anyone confirm my findings or am I missing
something?

Hi Dilkris ,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

You have to remember that Project is part of the Office suite. Rather than
re-invent the wheel, Project is designed so that the data can be exported to
Excel where the S curves can be simply created. If you are likely to use
this frequently, then it is easy to write macros to automate this procedure.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
