MS Word XP - Insert Hyperlink - Select a place in this document - Collapse Outline

I'm trying to install a hyperlink to place in the current document.
The document has an outline format with Heading 1, Heading 2, … and is
over 50 pages in length. Unfortunately, the Insert Hyperlink dialog
form presents the document outline in an expanded format as opposed to
a collapsed format, making it very cumbersome to find the desired
hyperlink location. (I have to scroll and scroll and scroll through
the document outline.) Is there a way to default the outline in the
Insert Hyperlink dialog form to a collapsed format as opposed to the
expanded format?
