Msg Box

Please help, I have a message box for an OnClick Event for a button:

RetValue = MsgBox("Are Details Complete?", vbOKCancel)

How ever, whether the user ticks Ok or Cancel the button still runs the
query. Any idea on the If statement that I'm missing?

Are you testing the value of the RetVal variable after this line is
executed? Something like ...

If RetValue = vbOK Then
'run your query
Else
'whatever you want to do if the user chooses to cancel
End If
