I can't seem to send mail to people with the msn.com account. I have
several joke lists that I send out. Any with the msn.com hang up and
won't send. I'm assuming it's a problem with their server, but since
this has been going on for several days, I'm beginning to wonder. The
error message I get says:

"Mail could not be sent using the account "writermd@High-Speed
Internet."
msn.com backlog too large to queue [domain may be overloaded or down]

Have I got a problem on my end, or is it on their end?

Thanks
Michael

It sounds like a problem on the other end. I would first try setting up an
account in another e-mail application (like Eudora Lite, Netscape, or Mail)
and seeing if it works (I'm guessing it will not). If you experience the
problem, contact your ISP to find out what's going on.

Did you ever solve this? I am having the problem when sending from
Comcast.com, but not from Mac.com. Unfortunately, I mostly have to send
from Comcast. If you found a solution, I would love it.

While the problem apparently starts with MSN (the queue?), clearly some mail
servers hang up on MSN, and others ignore the "problem" and send the mail.
I wonder if there is a preference or something that needs to be set
differently at Comcast.

Thanks!

Mac
