Multi-Level Bulleted Text Boxes & "Where's Outline View"

Trying to fix a presentation in XP (I'm a 97/2000 guy),
and text boxes which were ONCE multi-leveled because
they'd been formatted for bullets are now just text.
However the mult-level paragraph indent sliders on the
ruler bar are still present -- which is causing me all
kinds of pain when trying to indent and set tabs, etc.
How do I control these levels (e.g., turn them OFF), and
where the heck is OUTLINE view in XP?

Hi,

To find the outline view, you should be able to go to View| Normal (Restore
Panes). If that doesn't help, when you are in slide view, move your mouse
around the left hand side and you can click and drag it back on.

As for fixing the indents, if it is a text box from the Master, Go to View|
Master| Slide Master and fix them there.

In addition, hold down your CTRL button while moving the indent sliders
on the ruler. That will give you more control over them.

Also, you can use the promote/demote buttons on your toolbar (look for
the big fat green arrow) to "promote" your text to the left if you no
longer want it multi-level. Or, use Outline View once you get it back.
