Hi

is there any MUI for Office 2007, or the product itself
will cover all languages inherently.

Sorry for my naive question..... :)

Hi Milos,

MS Office 2007 has a new internal design that makes it
'langauge neutral' (i.e., even 'English' support is an add-in).
As in prior versions there are localized versions, where specific language packs and proofing tools will ship with the product.

While localized editions of 2007 MS Office system suites will be available as in prior editions, unlike prior editions of MS Office,
individiual language packs, will also be available as add-ons for retail, not just corporate, licensed versions of MS Office 2007.

You can purchase the complete Multi-Language pack or any of the 37 individual language packs for around US $25 each or the whole set
for around $200. These packs include both the proofing tools and the user interface localization for that language.

For the initial period between manufacturing release (26Oct2006) and retail store availability (30Jan2007) 60 day trial copies of
several language editions are available through http://trymicrosoftoffice.com
the Proofing tools kit and localized editions may not all be available on 30Jan2007 (the language translations take a bit of time
and testing <g>) but many will be available).

For 2007 in addition to 'localized' and 'multi-language' editions there will be MS Office 2007 'mixed-language' product suites
available:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/HA100910041033.aspx#2

Note that while the Language Packs allow change of the User Interface and add language specific proofing tools, they are *not*
needed to be able to type in multiple languages in the 2007 Office programs.

Hi Bob

Many thanks for your comprehensive response.
We are covered by Campus License and MSDN AA.
Though MSDN AA does not cover full Office,
it provides Office language packs sooner :)
than Campus L.
