Multiple Contacts from one company?

Is there a way for Entourage to allow you to group multiple contacts under
one company/organization's address, phone, fax, etc.? If not in Office v.X,
is this possible in Office 2004?

It is time consuming and error prone to have multiple contacts with the same
basic contact info needing to be updated individually is there is ever a
change to their info. There are other reasons why it would be nice to have
the ability to create an "Organizational Unit" (to borrow Exchange lingo) to
group contacts under.

Anyone with any ideas in this regards?

I remember that Now Contact used to (still does?) have this ability... Apple
OSX Address Book seems to have something similar with its "Groups", though I
haven't explored it enough to see if it really works the way I am
suggesting.

Thanks for any input.

No, unfortunately not.

You can send feedback to the developers on this issue. Use the last menu
item under the 'Help' menu - "Send Feedback on Entourage". This message will
go directly to the developers. The more people that request this feature the
more likely it is to be implemented.

Categories can be used in exactly the same way as Apple Address Book Groups,
and are even more powerful.

Thanks for the input Barry. I will make that suggestion using the "Entourage
Feedback". Maybe in Entourage 2006? ;-)

I was wondering about those OSX Address Book groups - I couldn't tell if
they were trying to be something like categories or if they were like what I
was looking for - an "organizational unit". Thanks for the clarification.

Thanks Paul for your info. Unfortunately, I don't know AppleScript and I
prefer to keep my number of categories small and used only as categories,
not doubling duty as "organizational units" as well. But it's good to know
about those options.

Thanks.

PS. I couldn't "reply to newsgroup" with your message because I couldn't
find it on the newsgroup? It appears you only sent it to me privately, which
is why I posted it here, so everyone could benefit.
