I am using Entourage 2004 and 0S 10.3.7. I am using them on a new Powerbook
and have been in the process of moving programs and files from my old
Powerbook. In trying to sync my Tungsten E with Entourage for the first time
I got duplication of entries and sometimes entries 10 times on particular
days.
My process was as follows:
1. I had been using Now Up to Date and Contact on the old powerbook and had
no trouble syncing with that. Since I didn¹t know how well the sync would
work with Entourage I first did a sync to the old computer using NUD.
2. I set up the new computer to sync with Entourage using Hotsync 3.2 and
the Entourage conduit from the Additional Tools folder in Office 2004
3. When I performed the sync many of the entries, especially recurring ones,
were duplicated on both the Palm and Entourage. Some items were on the wrong
days and had been entered numerous time. The hotsync log says the sync was
successful throughout.
All of the information which was in Entourage Calendar was imported from
NUD.
Any suggestion? Advice? Strategies? For cleaning up this mess. As of right
now I¹m having 2 lunches and 2 dinners today!!
