Multiple Incoming Messages in Entourage?

B

Outlook allows you to set up the same e-mail address with different
outgoing servers so you can send messages from various locations. It
also allows you to turn OFF recieving of accounts so you don't end up
with multiple copies of the same message to each of these accounts. I
can't seem to find a place to control recieving in Entourage. As a
result, with one e-mail address set up with three configurations...you
end up with 3 copies of every incoming message!

Would it work if you could set up multiple SMTP servers to use in different
locations? There is a free script from Paul Berkowitz that does that, "SMTP
Location" (get "SMTP Location X" if you use any version of OS X). You can
get it from ScriptBuilders @ MacScripter.

It doesn't sound like you need an e-mail address set up with three
configurations after installing and setting up the script, but if you do
need to turn off receiving of accounts, you can go to Tools > Send & Receive
<any account> to receive mail from just one account. Alternatively, you
can go to Tools > Schedules, and create a new schedule(s) to manually
receive mail from a group of accounts, which you can later launch from Tools
