multiple network access to Word file???

Dear all

is it possible to share a MS word 2003 doc in a similar way to sharing an
Excel workbook, i.e what I want is for multiple users over a small
peer-to-peer network to be able to access the same Word doc simultaneously
and either make simultaneous changes to it *or* to view it on one computer
whilst making changes on another (and see the changes take place on
both)????

Hi Jon,

Basically, no. Word documents aren't designed for
simultaneous sharing other than to use reviewer's
through a Sharepoint enabled website.

You can have folks make their own changes and route
the document to the next person and then merge all
of the comments/changes.
