Multiple passward protected shows with links to each other

I have multiple powerpoint shows (PC Office 2003) which are password
protected for editing only, not for viewing. These shows are linked to each
other, but any time I click on one of the links, a security window opens and
ask me if I want to enter the passward to "Edit" it or choose "Read only".
Does any one know a solution to prevent this annoying problem?
