Multiple send when there is a large attachment.

Outlook 2003 SP1, Whenever I have a large attachment to an outgoing e-mail,
outlook says error sending and retries but actually has sent the message
several times until I kill it.



If nobody has an answer to this problem is there a way I can diagnose it?

There are several things that can cause this, the primary cause being that
you're scanning outgoing mail with an antivirus scanner. Disable this (it
doesn't protect you or your recipients anyway) and see if that helps.

Another cause may be a server timeout value that is too small. Find that
setting on the Advanced tab of your account properties pages.
