Multiple sessions in powerpoint

I operate a system with two monitors, using a dual DVI card. I want to
display a different powerpoint presentation on each screen, for ease in
developing presentations. I cannot figure out how to do it in PowerPoint. In
Word it works this way automatically, that is, each new document opens in its
own window. Any ideas?

PPT is a one window application. All of the presentations only open in the
primary application window. One suggestion is if you are running an extended
desktop, stretch the actual PPT application to span both monitors. Open the
presentations and go to VIEW >> ARRANGE ALL. This will position the
presentations to fit side-by-side in the application window - which is now
the width of your multiple monitors, so each presentation is (more or less)
on each monitor. The downside is your toolbars are also stretched across
both monitors making them harder to use...

Mine aren't stretched. They all remain on the leftmost/main window. They can
be rearranged to your liking, since there is now so much more real estate.
