Multiple Users

I have two different users set up on my OSX due to different system
preferences. Both accounts are running Entourage for mail /
contacts / etc. I have moved the Microsoft User Data file on the main
user over to the Shared folder and then created symlink to the
Documents folder on the primary user account. Everything works in
Entourage like it should.

When I try to do the same thing for the secondary user, I get a
message when I launch Entourage that the database is corrupted and I
can't go any further. Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?

My guess is that the second user doesn't have read-write access to the
Shared folder and/or its files. You can change the file permissions from the
Get Info dialog box in the Finder (from the user who owns the folder and
files).

Also, make sure the first user doesn't have Entourage running while the
second user tries to access the database. Only one user can access the
database at a time.
