Must do a Force Quit to close Entourage

I recently installed MS Office:mac 2004 student and teacher edition on
my iMac 17" computer. I found that when I try to quit Entourage, I get
a spinning "color wheel" and have to do a Force Quit (about half of the
time). The Office technical support person was courteous, and told me
to go to Home, my name, Library, Preferences, and to delete all
com.Microsoft files from my office preferences. This didn't solve the
problem. Any ideas?

Take a look at Scheules, under the 'Tools' menu. Are there any schedules
that are set to run 'on quit'? It could be one of these schedules that takes
some time.

I have had the same problem since the last update. I went back and
forth with Microsoft over the course of two weeks and they could not
find a solution. They have stopped responding to my emails. I've tried
deleting the program, changing to a new user profile and canceling all
schedules and nothing has worked.
