Must I have Address Book?

Does anyone know if you must have Address Book installed on your computer if
you also have Outlook 2000. I would just like to use my Contacts. For
example, if you open a contact's form and click on the icon to the right of
their I-mail address, Address Book opens up. I for some reason dislike
Address Book and I'm tired of updating it ect.

Any and all info on how I can best use it, get rid of it or whatever is
appreciated.
Thanks,

The Outlook Address Book is just a view of your contacts. If you're talking
about a PAB (personal address book) file, that's not needed.
