my 2000 presentation gets out of sync in powerpoint 2003

Hi
when i am playing a presentation with comentry and music (that was created
with powerpoint 2000) with powerpoint 2003, the sound track becomes out of
sync with the slides. after 15 mins the presentation stops altogether.

Is this on a different machine? Is the presentation saved to the hard drive, or
is it being played from removable media or over a network?

thank for your link in answer to your question yes it is on the same machine
but it has just been upgraded from 2000 to Windows XP with all upgrades. the
presentation is on a 2003 server so it is being accessed over the network in
both cases
