My address book is not acpting new contacts? Help

Please use this BIG WHITE SPACE to provide us with such pertinent details as
Outlook version, OS, type of email account, etc.etc.

Outlook doesn't use an "address book" as such, it uses Contacts, a folder in
your pst file. How are you trying to add these contacts and what happens
when you try?

Am using Outlook 2007 with Vista
Am using the available window to enter contacts

That's because the Address Book isn't how you add contacts. Add contacts
using your Contacts folder.
