My Contacts folder in Outlook 2003 is autodeleting new addresses -

Addresses I have added recently are autodeleting from my Contacts folder - I
can find them in the deleted folder and restore them - but they then
autodelete within 24 hours. Can anyone help? I am tearing my hair out!

Any add-ins? Do you sync with a hand-held device?

No - no add ins to my knowledge - the only syncing is with Plaxo online I

Well, Outlook doesn't delete anything unless instructed to do so. You have
something (who knows what) on your PC that is telling Outlook to remove them.
If Plaxo online interfaces to Outlook in any way, that would be my suspect.
Plaxo has a long history of not playing well with Outlook.
