My contacts won't sort in alphabetical order!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In Contacts View.

I wonder if anyone can help me.

If I sort by Company I get a perfect sort.

If I sort by Name there does not appear to be any logical sort order, it is
certainly not alphabetical which is how I want it.

I am sure it used to sort properly!

It actually is sorted in alphabetical order by last name, even though
it displays by first name.

If you want to add a last name field and have that be your primary
field, there is a script onhttp://scriptbuilders.net/cat.php that will
accomplish that.
