Email Client: pop

Unable to get rid of automatic start up of My Day as I start up my Mac. Even if I unmark that it shall start as I start up it still starts automatically and has marked the automatic start up.
Any advice?

Go to the System Preferences > Accounts > (your account) > Login items
and remove it from the list.
