My "fill" color bucket doesn't work.

Honest - it really doesn't. I've tried everything. I
can see the shaded effect of what I've done in print
preview, but no color there either. If I select a cell
or range of cells, hit the fill button, I should be able
to see that color I've selected on the open worksheet,
right?

Any help greatly appreciated!

If the high contrast setting is turned on you won't see the fill colour.

If this is a problem with all Excel files with coloured cells, the Windows OS
high contrast setting may be turned on. There is information in the
