As posted before the 1st image of the movie is visible in powerpoint 2003
(windows Xp professional), but when I play it out of powerpoint the image
tuns black. The same movie works fine, when played on the windows media
player (version 10). Installing directX 9 did not help. I am really not 100%
sure,
but it might be that it worked some time ago. Is it possible that something
was corrupted due to the installation of other programs or a virus etc. from
the internet? - everything else in powerpoint works fine! Trying to restore
my system to an earlier point did also not work (specifically also because I
don't know, if and when this stoppped working) I hate to completely
re-install my system for this - but I desperately need this for an official
presentation - I am really worried. Is there a way to check that at least
everything about the operating system is correct?
