My thesaurus works when I right click, but not in the sidebar?

2007 word thesaurus works when I right click, but when I try to see a more
detailed list in the sidebar, it says no results were found. However,
during the right click, there is a choice of words, so I know I am not simply
spelling the word wrong. I am writing my thesis, and I need your help!
