When I send an email to someone it shows up in their inbox as coming from
"Microsoft entourage test driver 2004" instead of showing my name, it's
probably something simple, but does anyone know how to fix this?
This is happening because you started up the Office Test drive at least once
on your computer (test drive used to come pre-installed on many mac models).
If you did not completely remove all vestiges of the test drive before
installing the 'proper' version you get all sorts of mess and nasties like
this.
Unfortunately, the only reliable solution is to remove all parts of test
drive and proper release by using the 'remove office' utility that you can
find in the office application folder tree. Having nuked everything from
high orbit, you can then re-install the full version and your troubles
should be over.
